Holidays in Morelia
I recently realized I haven’t taken too many photos of Morelia and the amazing views from home, so here’s a bit of Morelia and our drive back to the city.

Early Christmas
The night before heading to Morelia for Christmas, we celebrated a bit early and opened gifts on the night of the 23rd.

Our sweet tree
I had totally forgotten to post photos of our tree. Like previous years, I opted for the non-traditional colors along with a few cupcake and candy treats.

Christmas dinner with friends
Just like last year we will be spending Christmas in Morelia with Goose’s family, so this year in order to have a celebration of our own, we decided to host an early Christmas dinner with a few friends and Goose’s parents. I figured why not try a few recipes for the first time (something that most people think is a bad decision since you never know how it will come out). The menu...

Our puppy is gone
A few days ago our tiniest pup Houdini passed away. Even though he was the first born, he was extremely tiny and his legs just weren’t as strong as his sister. A week after his first visit to the vet where everything seemed to be perfect, he passed away of a terrible liver invention that killed him in 24 hours.  Even though he was with us for only 4 weeks, we miss him terribly but know...

Victoria’s Secret Does Not Love My Body →

Seeing the world for the first time
Our puppies recently opened their eyes and saw the world for the first time. They look incredibly adorable and are now learning to lift their heads and look around. Also, Snow Bear (girl white) has overgrown Houdini (male, spotted) by a head. She looks so much like her dad, Valentino, when I first got him back in 2009.  The doggy family is just perfect.

Brunch at Bellini
Two Sundays ago my in-laws invited us out to late breakfast at the World Trade Center’s IHOP, but due to the 2 hour wait, we opted for rotating restaurant on the 45th floor instead—Bellini. Bellini definitely has the best view of the town and actually holds the Guinness World Record for largest revolving restaurant. Their brunch buffet was the best we’ve had a quite some time....

Quick beach getaway
For the past few months I had be wanting to get away from the city and escape to the beach for some sun and clean air…so when Goose mentioned a baseball meeting on sunny Isla Mujeres I bought a plane ticket and tagged along—sort of. We arrived on the island around 2:30 in the afternoon and checked in at the hotel where the mayor’s office had made reservations. Unfortunately,...
